my dad’s not doing too good lately, like I said he cracked his ribs, busted his head open, but for the past few days he’s been experiencing chest pain and he thinks he’s going to have a heart attack and die
I don’t really know what to do or think about it, there isn’t really anything I can do about it, I’m not really looking for advice I’m just saying
I know I haven’t been talking much here lately but I just want you people to know I’m fine, life is just… life-ing right now
even though most of you probably don’t really care lol -
I mean I just don’t want to be an orphan
I never really thought I’d be that person -
@zack I hope he doesnt have any more complications from his condition. Has he been like… in the hospital or? I cant imagine them releasing him in bad condition like that.

Keep the head in line with the spine and prevent movement. Wait for medical help. Stop any bleeding by firmly pressing a clean cloth on the wound, unless you suspect a skull fracture. If the injury is serious, be careful not to move the person’s head if he busted his head anduse painkillers, such as paracetamol or ibuprofen gel (or ibuprofen tablets if needed)
hold an ice pack (or a bag of frozen peas) wrapped in a tea towel to the affected ribs regularly in the first few days to bring down swelling.

@ieosl he’s currently okay as he already received some (family) help (no medical bills woohoo), head injury wasn’t too bad (still happened though), doctors can’t do a whole lot about fractured ribs (sucks but I mean, what CAN they do? surgically force them back together? can’t wrap your ribs, can you) so he decided to just stay home (on top of the fact we can’t afford american hospital bills) but the main issue is the chest pain, he says it’s like a painful pressure and like his heart keeps constricting; it’s been like this for a few days now
I’m especially worried because he called me and I’m away from home so there’s just more reasons why I can’t do anything -
