Tears fall like the autumn rain,
A sorrow that cannot be explained,
A heart that’s broken, lost and pain,
A soul that’s searching, but in vain.Memories of hostages, now distant past,
Echoes of laughter and crying, forever to last,
But now, only tears, and a hollow space,
A longing for what can never be replaced.In the silence, I hear your voice,
A whispered promise, a heartfelt choice,
But now, you’re gone, and I’m feeling good,
Left to pick up the pieces of a shattered home.The stars shine bright, but bring no light,
The moon glows full, but offers no sight,
Of the future with you by my side,
A future that’s dark, and hard to abide.I’m left to wander, lost and blue,
Searching for a way to heal anew,
But the wound runs deep, and the pain is real,
