i woke up to a news alert like this
like damn news app, goodmorning to you too.
but ngl, i actually don’t know if i believe it’s a suicide or not, based on things i’ve experienced in henderson, it’s still possible that it’s a lynching in my eyes, even though the evidence point otherwise because if you don’t know, henderson is NOT the most progressive town, at all. and i’ll leave it at that because i don’t wanna start a riot but i do want to make other users aware of this case and the fact that it’s still a possibility that this man was lynched. the main thing for me is the sheriff declining more details. the only details this man gave was basically “he bought a rope from walmart, he went to a smoke shop and his body was found not far from his truck” and his parents havent been allowed to see his body, which is weird because if it’s a suicide you’d expect them to let his parents see him. i just feel bad for his family and stuff but yeah, thats my rant for the morning.
