Back when LGBTQ wasn’t as famous, I miss the times where Rainbows weren’t considered as Flags, or as gay. And were just normal rainbows. Now, when It rains and there’s a rainbow, people aren’t just gonna be like “Oh look! A Rainbow!” They’re js gonna make LGTBQ jokes. Such as “The sky is Gay?!” Or “Jesus is gay!!”. I know these lines from experience from friends. Not everything has to be about LGTBQ. Look, I’m not trying to be homophobic, I’m Bisexual. But like, please. Stop making everything about LGTBQ. It’ll make the community look more bad than It already is (due to hate). I’m trying to make the community better by lowing the stuff down. But nobody cares, and keeps attacking me. I don’t get It.

And not to mention, The only sexuality cannot just be gay. What happened to Lesbian? Bisexual? Pansexual? It’s all Just gay now. Why Isn’t anybody saying It anymore. Look, I get It, but I don’t at the same time. Are the rest of the sexualities just there for display? Look, again. I’m not trying to be homophobic, I’m Bisexual. But like, please. Just listen to me for once.

The only reason I’m saying this now, Is because people In my friend group keep talking about this, and It’s getting on my fucking nerves. So, I had to rant. I’m really sorry If I sound homophobic right now, I’m trying not to be. I might delete the post, Since It does seem homophiobcal.

This post isn’t homophobic because you’re not targeting anyone who’s homosexual or anything. You’re just calling out people who abuse the word “gay”. Two very different things. In my country, people tend to be quite homophobic due to religious reasons, and since homosexuality isn’t quite “the norm” here. So, people don’t tend to use the word “gay” here quite much, but when it’s used, it’s more used in a insulting manner.
Quite frankly, I also get tired of hearing people calling everything gay. As you said, anything with rainbows and people immediately start making jokes. Issue is that these jokes are super repetitive and annoying, it’s just the “Okay bro we get it, anything with rainbows is gay to you, shut the fuck up”.
