i need help getting a friend

so theres this girl whos like the main character in my school play and like im one of the racketeers who SERVE that main character, but shes one of them girls that are popular and shes usually quite mean, so i tried at lunch today, i asked my friend to help me out but then they got me over to her, told her ‘my friend wants to strike a conversation with you ok bye’ then left, i tried to explain to her but she was like ‘why???’ then went off with her friend
this afternoon i was going to the toilet and i found her in the drama studio so as i was leaving i waved to her but she didnt really make notice of me
what the fuck do i do man because theres no way that she’ll be friends with a nerd like me
