I’m like Santa, except that I only show up once (maybe even twice) a year to gather information.

• What’s the story of this forum, why does it even exist?
• Why are some of the users here but not on multiplayerpiano.net?

I’m not exactly a “proper” user myself (just a mod on the website),
but I’m curious:

What makes you stay here and not drift to other spots? 🤔

dunno what you get by the story, but the purpose was for people from MPP to communicate freely and make better friends they wouldnt find from MPP, i think

most people here are here from their friends telling them, or just found this forum somehow or whatever

people like Blake or @404-JerryNotFound keep me happy, and honestly i dont know any community forums that i could go to, like its hard to see new people cuz im shy, but them 2 change my mood everyday, so whats the post of drifting off from people who make you happy?

A LOT. Staff, for one. A lot of old moderators/admins left from discrimination or just because they were tired of the site. The appearance may have changed a bit too, but nothing too big. As well as staff changing, so have the users. A lot have left or quit due to getting older and having better things to do, or just leaving their accounts inactive for a while because- y’know- mppc isn’t a lot of people’s first priorities.

Similar to on here, a lot of moderators left that site because they got older. When you’re learning how to drive and preparing for college, mpp isn’t really something you bother about.
…and with lack of good mods and users that weren’t getting to be over the age of 18, the site got less taken care of and now basically inactive.
