I think MPPC could benefit from having a more active community outside of the usual day to day activity, and by that, I’ve been considering creating a Discord server specifically for the MPPC community. It would give members another place to talk, meet people, have others join, participate in events, and actually stay involved with the community.
I’d like to see things such as community game nights, events, discussions, contests, and other activities that give people a reason to participate rather than simply joining and leaving.
I’m willing to put the time into setting something like this up and helping manage it. Before moving forward, however, I’d like to know whether this is something the community and staff would actually be interested in.
If we want MPPC to become more active, I think we need to start creating more opportunities for people to get involved.
