A random thought came to me

I think I need to take control of my life- and the main thing would be running away from home to start it off. However, the only chance I’d get to be closer to my destination is christmas eve and nobody will be paying any attention to me so I can just slip away. However, my family would notice I disappeared by the end of the christmas party, and since my grandparents live in an apartment it would be harder to slip away unnoticed.
How would I begin my journey with enough supplies to last throughout it?
