@I_Løve_Zøf When I could only play with one hand, I used to think it was basically impossible to “multitask” without two brains working for each hand. No one ever taught me the tecniques so I had to figure it out on my own. I found it easier on my brain to think of the two hands playing one song (instead of one hand learning chords and the other hand learning melody). That’s why people playing chords alone, then playing the melody alone, then people telling them to “just play them together” doesn’t work. Learning it together makes it feel less separated. At least from my experience. My suggestion is to think of the melody as a metromone. I wish someone told me that advice way sooner because it was a total game changer when I relized it. I highly recommend practicing with “Carol of the Bells.” It’s easy and helps to practice a song with chords and timing And if you get fast, you’re only getting better at timing! Timing isn’t about happening to land on the right keys at the right moment. Though, it might feel like that’s what it is. Timing in my mind is basically pressing a key with my right hand at the same time I press down I press down a key with my left. And thinking of the melody (the right hand) as a metromone, it helps a lot with keeping beat and timing. Instead thinking of it as two sides coming together, you picture it more like one note. Something I tell myself when playing a song is "Okay, so every time I press this note down, that’s when I press this chord. So I know that I don’t have to worry about when to press the chord “at the right time” because all I have to remember is when I press the right key, I have to play the left. I hope this helps slightly, if not, that’s okay! XD

@Duchess in all honesty it’s not that i can’t do it. i just don’t the the skill nor patience to honestly figure it out. but i can and have done it. hell I’m playing a song that i made with both my hands rn. I’m only needing to use my pointer and middle finger on my left hand so i can honestly play it and tbh it sounds pretty good. If i can ever record it for y’all i will
