I had never seen a ghost. But as they say, there is a first time for everything. Hi I’m mia I’m 16 years old and my friend is Maya she is also 16. One day we were on a walk for fun. We saw this creepy blue haunted house. We looked at each other and realized this was 16-year-old Mila’s house. We walk into the house and we hear a crash. I see a person just stare and us. “Who are u?” I say. Maya responds “who are u talking to?”. “You can’t see her ?” I respond. “Nope.” Maya says. “Wait are u, Mila,” I say. The girl is in a prom dress and 5’11 and has long curly brown hair. With a warm smile, she looks at me and waves. I blush and smile back while waving. “Hi I’m Mia and this is my friend Maya!”. “Let’s get to know each other,” I say. “I’ll go first” I’m 16,5’8, nice, bi, and I like to play volleyball”. Maya says “I’m 16, 5’7, and I pan”. Mila responds “im 14, 5’11, and Omni”. I run up to her a give her a hug and Maya and Mila seem so confused. Mila finally let Maya see her and Maya gasped. “Your so cute!!”. “Hey don’t mean to be rude but how did u die?” I say. Mila responds with “ uhh I was at prom and I got raped by a playboy and then killed bc he didn’t want to be snitched on to the cops.”. “I’m sorry,” I say. RING RING my phone rings so I answer it and it’s my mom. “Maya we gotta go home” “ok,” Maya says. “Baiiiiii Mila we’ll be back tmro ok?”. “Ok” Mila responds.

     The Next Day

KNOCK KNOCK. Mila answers the door and I give her a big hug. We all giggle and exchange hugs. “So wut do yall wanna do?” I say. “Uhhhhhhhh,” they both say. Maya responds quickly with “ how about 2 truths and a lie?”. “Ok!” I say. Mila responds with “what’s two truths and a lie?”. “It’s where 1 person says 2 truths about them or something that happened to them and then says one lie and everyone has to guess what the lie is.”. “Ok,” Mila says. “I’ll go first, I’ve never dated anyone, I think I like someone in this room, my favorite color is baby purple, Mila what do u think is a lie?”. “Uhhhhh the first one bc ur beautiful and idk who wouldn’t want to date u…”. “I think it’s the 2nd one,” I say. Maya responds “Mila was right I dated 2 people so far”. “WAIT WHO DO U LIKE THEN?!” I say. “Not telling” Maya says. I say “Kk ill go now, I lost my v-card, I love spicy food, my favorite animal is German Shepherd”. ¨the the first one¨ they both say. ¨nope it’s the last one, my favorite animal is a husky¨. ¨WHAT!¨ they scream. ¨uh yeahhhhh ANYWAYS Mila ur turn.¨ Mila takes her turn ¨i went to new york,1 I’m a pastel version of emo, I’m taken by another ghost¨. ¨2nd one¨ maya and i both say. ¨No the last one¨ Mila replies. ¨ok so what do yall wanna do now¨ says, Maya. “Spin the bottle?” I ask. They both turn bright red as Mila finds an empty glass bottle. ¨who wants to go first¨ Maya says. Everyone looks around. uhh… I will I guess.”. Maya answers herself. Maya spins the bottle “WOSHH” and it lands on me, I guess it’s my “lucky” day, I think to myself. ¨its ok, we’re just friends, right?¨ I say. Maya thinks to herself ¨ yeah it’s not like I like u at all¨ she gets all sad. We kiss quickly then I spin the bottle and it lands on Mila I turn red like it looks like someone splashed red paint all over my face and I was frozen like a deer in headlights in the middle of the night. We kissed and we both knew we started to like each other it felt like I was in heaven. I say with a red face ¨maya I think it’s time for us to go home¨.” ¨ok” she said with a sigh.

        One Month Later

It’s almost the end of the day at school and I walk up to Maya and say “I think ima asking Mila out…”
“What,” Maya says with a sad look on her face. Maya starts to cry with her head down. “Maya are you crying?!” I say. “N~no” she responds. “Maya what’s wrong”. “it’s nothing” Maya starts to walk away fastly. “MAYA WAIT ‘’ I caught up to her. “What do you want,” Maya says. “All I want to know is why you’re crying” I respond with a sad/confused voice. “You wanna know?! You really wanna know?! Ok I’ll tell u, I like u I’ve liked you for 2 years I’ve been kinda giving hints but you haven’t noticed. Then you tell me you like Mila! THE GHOST GIRL!! SHE’S BEEN DEAD FOR LIKE 7 YEARS!!” Maya shouts. I start to cry and very quietly I say “ I’ve liked you too but now that I’ve told you I can’t choose between you guys and I hope you don’t either. I’m going over to Mila’s but I won’t ask her out. You can choose if you wanna come or not but I hope we can stay friends, I love you Maya” I walk away.
At Mila’s House
“Hey, Mila it’s me, Mia,” I say while opening the door and stepping into the house. “Oh hey mia, what’s up!” Mila yells back. I take a seat on the couch waiting for Mila to come find me. ¨mayas not gonna be here today she´s super upset…¨ I say. Mila responds, ¨ why is she upset?¨. ¨She’s upset because I told her I had a crush and she likes me. She has liked me for 2 years. But then I like her too but I like the other person more since I haven’t been waiting around for them¨. ¨ Who do you like mia?¨ Mila responds. I turn red and start stuttering ¨u~uhhh a g~g~girl. W~w~why?¨. Mila is a little red hoping it’s her ¨idk were friends I wanna know…¨. ¨do you absolutely wanna know?¨ I ask. ¨yeah I do¨ Mila worries. “Uh ok… um its its¨ i stutter and turn red ¨ its u¨ i hide my face¨ ik ik a human has fallen for a ghost girl its stupid¨. ¨its not stupid mia i like you too.¨ mila responds ¨but i dont know if its a good idea for us to date you should figure things out first¨. ¨uh yeah¨ i say. I go home and search up stuff like ¨can i date 2 people at once¨ what should i do if i like 2 people¨ nothing really pops up at least things helpful so i just sit there and think if it would be ok if i did but what if they find out or am i supposed to ask if i ask the other person if i can date the other? I search up “what’s it called when u date 2 people “ and it popped up with “polyamourus” and i thought wow its a real thing.
The Next Day

I see Maya in the hall of school and I run up to her. “Maya are u still mad at me?” ”Yea kinda” she responds. “Listen maya I like you I do and I found this thing called polyamourus it’s where one person dates 2 people with the other 2 peoples consent and Yea-”. So if it’s ok with you and mila i can date both of u” “really?..” Yea!” “So is it ok with you?” “uhm i’m not used to sharing but ok….yea sure…” I hugged her and thanked her. Then we walked to Mila’s house. When we got to Mila’s house she was sitting on a couch talking to herself. “Hey mila” maya and i say. “Oh hey guys” she responds.

“Everything alright?” I ask. “mhm “ she says. “Uhm mila, there’s something i need to ask you that maya already said yes to…” I say while nervously looking down at the floor while holding my hands together. “What is it? Is everything ok?” Mila says scared. “Yea its just tha-” maya interrupts her so she doesn’t have to say it “ Mia wants to date both of us there’s a thing called polyamourus it’s where someone date 2 or more people with the consent from all the ppl she dating to date other people while dating them. I know it sounds confusing but-” she’s interrupted to “yes!” Mila says. Both maya and i are shocked like we just saw a ghost, but he has so it’s not that surprising so i guess u can just say that we look surprised. Maya looks down at her feet “and mila…” she says nervously. “Yeah what is it?” she responds. Maya stutters and says “I kinda l-like you t-to”. Mila is a bit shocked but she smiles warmly and hugs maya and says “i do to”. Maya blushes and I’m over here smiling witnessing the best thing ever. “Wait-, Does that mean we are all dating each other? Like I’m dating maya and mila and maya is dating me and mila and mila is dating maya and me?”. “Uhhhhhhhh-” they both say. “Yea i guess if maya is down” mila says. “Yea i am” maya answers. “Wait- what are we gonna tell people when were dating 2 people and one of them is a ghost. They’re gonna think we’re psycho.” i say. “We wont tell them we are dating a ghost we will just say we are dating a girl named mila” maya says. “Smart” me and mila say.
One Week Later
After school maya and i start walking to mila’s house. We knock on her door hoping she answers, but she doesnt. We knock again, still no answer, so we do it again, still, nothing and. We walk in instead we look around and we see nothing on the first floor. So we go up to the second and check almost all the rooms. We see this room that we didnt know existed. We knock on the door seeing if mila is in there, we hear clatter from the room and we walk in. We see mila in there, but she looks like shes hiding something. I ask her “mila, what r u hiding?”. She poorly acts confused like she doesnt know what im talking about. “Milla” i say “we know ur hiding something, no offense but ur a bad actor”. ‘“I dont know what to say, but i dont want to show
can yall pls go downstairs ill be down in a sec” she said awkwardly. We walk downstairs and sit on the couch waiting for mila to come down. Eventually she came down from upstairs, she still looked awkward. We were so confused and why she reacted like that but we know it makes her uncomfortable to talk about so we let it be. Me and maya looked at each other concerned then looked back at mila waiting for somebody to say something. It was a good 4 minutes then we all said something at the same time mila said “ so wha-” maya said “uhm are we-” and i said “anywa-” we all stopped before we got the chance to finish in shock that we said things at the same time. Then we all said again “you go first-” and me and mila looked at maya and i said “you go first”. Maya said “well i was going to say are we going to talk? But i guess we are. So-” and then i looked at mila wanting her to talk. Mila said “ i was going to say so what are we going to talk about or do-”. Then they looked at me. “ i was going to say anyways what are we going to do”. Then it went silent for a good second. “You wanna go for a walk?” said maya. “Ive never tried leaving the house before. I dont even know if its possible…” mila responds. “Do you want to try?” i say.”uhm- sure ” Mila answers.
