["WTF" Station News]: Memorial Morning announcement.

So uh, last time, we decided to make a comeback. Today is the 14th, but we don’t care, so we will still make a memorial for the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Happy belated Patriot Day, guys.

Since then, almost 3,000 people have died, including everyone in the planes that were hijacked. 8:47 am is when the first plane hit the North Tower, which signs for a moment of silence at that time. People were jumping off the buildings as they crashed down, saying that ‘it is better than burning to death’.

Many others died in the ash and also were crushed by the debris. Many last calls - many last 911 calls, and many airport signals saying that planes have been hijacked. We observe Patriot Day as a sign of peace, memorial, and silence.

@laraiia At my local fire station, there are two stone pillars meant to represent the Twin Towers. Then there are two pieces of metal from the debris. It’s pretty neat.
