no he hasn’t, he just gave a copy to hri who thinks he can slap GPL on it and publish it but if brandon didn’t actually officially give him permisson to license and redistribute it then it’s not valid.

NVM, the repository is in official mpp organization owned by mpp admin himself. https://github.com/multiplayerpiano/mpp-frontend-v1 so it is implied that this was authorized and legal.
