Let my head rest upon your shoulder
The shore of your skin holds my body
The waves of your love wash up on me
The ocean breeze is delightful, my lungs fill up with candied air, I know I’m safe.

Let me take your eyes and store them for good
A memory plays again and again only you are seen in my head
Oh how sweet the memory tastes, I grasp at your hands once I’m brought back to life and my angel, my beautiful angel stares me down once more
Look me in the eyes, promise your heart to me
It’s you I see now

I kiss your snow white rosy skin, how soft as it brushes up against my lips gently
This moment we’re in, a pleasurable feeling, the ecstasy I drown in knowing I’m okay finally at last. The trees surrounding me cover me in dewy leaves and trickling sap, like a fairy I dance upon this romantic forest and embrace the warmth

You always talk about how beautiful those icy portals are, the portals and windows to the soul, but that’s not the only thing my eyes keep drifting onto, your body like waves and your hair like tide, I can drown in you forever.

Though hell is right in front of us, an inferno of pain we trudge through exhausted, we still found a home in this volcanic pic of ash that we inhale, oh how far we’ve come. Let it reign for this cannot hinder us no longer.
