A Poem I Wrote not sure how I feel about it

I remember the days when
I was in love with you
Forever.

I was young
Naive
I thought we were forever

Nothing lasts forever.

I remember the tears I cried
If the tears I cried for you
Could be bottled
They’d fill a pool

Where everyone else you’ve ever loved would swim.

Thats when I found him
He picked up the pieces of a broken version of myself
He showed me the way back to myself

You’re the one for me.

Or were you?

The tale of two loves
Of a human who feels unlovable
Will continue to be told

Because until they fall in love with themselves
No one can truly love them.

Another one
One who the love seemed impossible
I wish I could take back the I love you’s
And the time I wasted on you and your love

Your love was never real.

I don’t think I’ll ever be the same after heartbreak.
But time heals…
