My sink drain started getting really slow yesterday, and today it just up and stopped draining.

And without any plumbing experience or know-how whatsoever, I managed to take the pipes apart, clean out the gooey gunk with a pipe snake, and put it back together almost flawlessly.

my hands hurt, and i am very sweaty, but i feel accomplished
