well i might not be smart… but as far as I know lighting is the DISCHARGE OF electricity- let me explain

well- electiricity itself is the various effects of electrons , their potential energy, their current, the electrical and magnetic fields they generate under different circumstances idk i think im right. So Lightning is just one particular form and observation of Electricity in action imo
