mistakes

i don’t need reassure i really dont care but this has pissed me off for a while and i haven’t addressed it publicly yet so here we go.
yes i am a staff member, and yes i make mistakes.
i find that people lately have a habit of bothering me over small mistakes i make and im tired of it, just because im a staff member doesn’t revoke my humanity and make me a perfect person and it’s not okay and never was okay to treat staff members like that. and while yes, as staff we’re expected not to make mistakes and i understand that and in no way am i defending my wrongs, i am defending my right to make mistakes not the mistakes themselves. recently had someone, won’t name names because im not that petty, attack me in my dm’s over the fact that they gave me the wrong id to look at and i didn’t see anything wrong on said id. said i wasn’t trying hard enough, i should be demoted, etc.
anyways, i said all this to say. i have adhd, i make bad decisions sometimes, and does that make them okay? not at all. but did i choose for my life to be this way? also no. so just, cut me some slack okay? thank you.

@finneass Yeah. I hate when we make one mistake, people make such a huge deal. And even question why we’re even staff xD. Like all the other things we did just suddenly doesnt matter because we made one error. Not to mention I hate when people just dont forget the mistake and never let you live it down lol
