“Just draw everyday and you’ll get better”The reason I hate this is because a lot of talented artists say this to beginners. I understand, If you draw a certain thing a lot, you’ll start to get the hang of it. But you can’t just draw that everyday and you’ll magically get better, At the same time, This revokes the steps beginners need to actually get better, Just saying to draw everyday doesn’t give them enough detail to move up in their art carreer.
“Stop using references and make something Original. Use your imagination.”
For Beginner artists or artist with art block, This is hard when you don’t have something to reference from. Including if you haven’t yet made your own references.
Fixes Art*
I hate when Artists no matter if their beginner or expert, they just have the nerve to fix other’s art. without permission, this shouldn’t be okay. I think art should be expressed how everyone sees it. Cause people see it differently than others and for someone to think, “I don’t like how this looks, Let me fix it and post it to my channel as mine!” Is an insult to the art community.
“You drew ___ Wrong. Let me fix it.”
This is similar to the one above this, Fixing art without permission isn’t okay.
Give criticism that’s more like “I hate your art and this is how I’d actually draw it cause my way is the right way”
Giving criticism is supposed to help an artist, Not break them down and never build them up. It shouldn’t be like bullying.
If you have a problem with anything I’ve said or mentioned, Please DM Me about it.
