my advice for the day

learn to be happy with yourself before being happy with anyone else. and when it come time for you to have other people around, if they don’t make you love yourself more when you’re around them then you shouldn’t keep them around you. if a person is not actively adding to your life, they are not worth your time. think about it. do they respect you the same way that you respect them? do they listen to you? do they respect the boundaries that you set in the friendship /relationship (i.e. touching, petnames, i love you’s, being around certain people, dating exes, friend code, or anything of that sort)? if not, then leave them behind
