If you find yourself in a situation where you are being asked to leave your family home, it is important to prioritize your safety and well-being above all else. This can be an incredibly difficult and emotional experience, but ultimately, if your presence is no longer welcome or safe for you, it may be necessary to leave.

For me, today is that day. After much thought and consideration, I have made the decision to tell my parents that I will be leaving the household. While this is not an easy choice, I know that it is what is best for me at this time. It has become clear that staying in this environment is no longer tenable, and I must take steps to ensure my own happiness and security.
