To trust something you have to give,
Your heart, your soul, your will to live.
In a world so full of doubt and fear,
Trusting is a choice that’s clear.

It’s not always easy to let go,
To open up and let someone know
The deepest parts of who you are,
To trust in them, both near and far.

But trust is the glue that binds us tight,
It gives us strength, it gives us light.
It’s a bond that can withstand the test of time,
A beacon in the darkness, a mountain to climb.

To trust is to be vulnerable,
To let down walls that are impenetrable.
It’s a risk we take, a leap of faith,
But the rewards are worth the ache.

For when we trust, we open up our hearts,
We let love in, we tear apart
The barriers that keep us apart,
And forge connections that will never depart.

So take a chance, have faith, believe,
In the power of trust, in what it can achieve.
For to trust is to truly live,
To give, to receive, to forgive.
