"Mystery's Song" from The Fairy Queen by Henry Purcell
-
I am come to lock all fast, love with out me cannot last!
Love, like counsels of the wise, must be hid from vulgar eyes!
Tis Holy! Tis Holy! And, we must, we must conceal it!
They profane it, they profane it, who reveal it?
They profane it, they profane it, who reveal it?

-
BTW I get to do this for State Solo/Small Ensemble, and I’m very excited! (It’s Purcell, so it’s Baroque, one of my favorite musical styles!!)
