Chapter Four: The Road Trip
Carrie led Kitty and Kat to a nearby beach. The beach was incrusted with beautiful pearl-white crystals. The beach had reddish brown sand. The water had a light cyan color and there were shiny miniature pearls everywhere in it. But these pearls weren’t white ones like you would normally find. They were multicolor. One pearl would be pink, and the next one blue and the next one yellow. Kitty was admiring the scene, while Kat was impatiently clearing her throat waiting for the submarine. Kat took a random pearl and threw it across the sea. It skipped across gracefully making tiny ultramarine ripples in the turquoise water. Then suddenly, the miniature waves rapidly turned into a major disturbance that turned out to be a big, harmless, friendly fish swimming to the surface to greet them. All three friends laughed and plopped on the beautiful sand while Kitty asked, “When is the submarine coming?” Carrie nor Kat responded. And they sat there, waiting for the submarine. Then after that, the water started quaking yet again. This time, much more violent. The waves were rapidly turning into a giant tsunami. Kitty, Kat, and Carrie all got up, ready to run. But before they could, a mint-green submarine that was the size of a double-decker bus appeared out of the beautiful sea. The door to the submarine slowly opened to reveal Hannah in a bright grass-green tuxedo standing at the door’s entrance. “Where were you guys? I was looking for you on the island over there!” Hannah pointed to a nearby island that looked like a tropical paradise. The trees bore juicy and sweet mangos, the locals were waving oblivious to the fact that there was a mega-sized robot ready to destroy everything at that moment. Kitty, Kat, and Carrie walked into the submarine in a single file line. The inside of the submarine was pure silver metal except for the shaggy pink rug lining the cold steel flooring and purple-colored velvet chairs. Hannah was sitting in one of the two chairs that were placed right in front of the control panel. Kitty and Kat sat down in two more chairs that were perfectly placed so only four people could ride the submarine at a time. All four of the friends sat down on one of the seats. Everyone besides Hannah, who already sat down and buckled her seatbelt up. Carrie sat down and told Kitty and Kat “Alright! if you guys don’t want to fall on the ground, I advise you to sit down.” After hearing that, Kitty and Kat quickly sat down in avoidance of falling on the hard flooring. Once everyone was seated, Kat asked, “So how long is this trip going to take?” Carrie responded with, “Uhm, maybe three to four hours? Maybe longer?” Kitty said, “WHAT? FOUR HOURS?” “Wait!” Hannah said as she butted her way into the conversation. “Wait we have a turbo button that gets the submarine moving quick, fast and in a hurry!” Hannah pointed at a big red button that had the word “TURBO” engraved into it. Carrie exclaimed, “You know the “TURBO” button is untested! You don’t know what the button could do!” Hannah rolled her eyes. “Fine, I won’t press the button” Suddenly, Hannah leaned over to where the button was and quickly pressed it. Carrie ran to stop Hannah. “Hannah, no!” She tripped on the pink shaggy rug and head butted the dense floor. “Ow…” Kitty was trying not to stifle a laugh as Carrie pulled herself off the hard ground. Kitty cleared her throat as she said, “Is that Coral City over there?” She pointed to a beautiful coral reef. The coral was vibrant shades of pink, red, blue, and orange. Kat said, “Uh, remember when we said that we hate water?” Carrie said, “Oh yeah I forgot to tell you guys, I have scuba gear!” Carrie walked to a closet and opened it. The colors of the scuba gear sets were mint green, cotton candy pink, powder blue, and royal purple. Kitty took the purple one, Kat scooped up the pink suit, Carrie decided on blue, and Hannah was happy to get her favorite green gear. After changing into her swim wear Kat hastily ran to the submarine door. “The last one to swim to Coral City is a rotten egg!”
Chapter Five: Welcome to Coral City!
All four friends were swimming in the ocean slowly but surely heading toward the beautiful coral reef. Until a beautiful black, fluffy Mer-cat with blue eyes, fluffy black fur, and a purple fishtail swam up to them. “Hi! My name is Marina! We don’t see land dwellers here much!” Suddenly another black-furred Mer-cat with purple eyes, and a red tail, started swimming quickly toward Marina. “Marina! Marina! Where’s Frostbite? I haven’t seen him since that strange robot appeared a few hours ago!” Marina let out a gasp. “Lynx? Are you telling me that Frostbite is gone?!” Lynx rolled her amethyst eyes and said “Duh, what else am I saying?” Marina turned to Hannah, Kat, Kitty, and Carrie. “You must help us find our brother Frostbite! He has very light blue fur and he has lavender eyes with a red tail.” Kitty hesitated for a bit. “I- okay. we’ll help.” Marina let out a happy squeal. “Really? Yay!” Marina motioned to a house shaped like a miniature coral reef. “We’re going to need to get some clues about where Frostbite went. Carrie asked, “How are we going to find out where he went?” Hannah added to Carrie’s question by saying, “Yeah, where are we going to go and how are we going to find Frostbite?” Marina motioned to a beautiful rainbow miniature coral reef shaped like a giant seashell with a door in front of it. Marina swam quickly to it and knocked on the door. The door opened to reveal a beautiful Mer-fox with long, red, flowing fur. He said, “Hi, Marina. Are these land dwellers?!? Why are they here?!? Did they take Frostbite???” Marina assured the Mer-fox by saying, “No, Flame, they are going to help us find Frostbite.” Flame had a disbelieving look on his face, but he said, “Oh, okay. Well, take me along so we can find Frostbite.” Marina stopped him. “Flame, I don’t think we should take you along. We already have too many people right now.” Flame insisted anyway. “Last time I heard, Frostbite is MY best friend. If anyone is going to find him, it’s going to be me.” Marina shrugged. “Alright, I guess. Follow us if you want.” So, Flame followed the group and asked, “So do you guys have any idea as to where Frosty is?” Marina responded by saying, “Oh I-” But quickly got cut off by a scream. “SOMEONE HELP ME!” Marina let out a gasp. “Frostbite?!? I’m coming!!!”
Chapter Six: Is This It?
All five friends swam faster than the speed of light to a nearby kelp forest. The kelp grew to amazing heights. The height of the kelp varied from one foot to twenty. It was just like a giant corn maze but underwater. Frostbite let out another ear-splitting screech. “Is anyone here? Help!” Kitty, Kat, Carrie, Marina, Lynx, Hannah, and Flame, all swam quickly through the perplexing labyrinth. By the time they got to the center of the puzzle, it was too late… Frostbite was stuck in the cage built into F.A.R.T’s chest. Frostbite said, “Lynx? Marina? Flame? HELP ME!” Marina exclaimed, “We’re coming! I found reinforcement” Marina waved to Kitty, Kat, Hannah, and Carrie. “We’re coming to get you out of that cage!” Upon hearing that, F.A.R.T quickly turned his head in rage and attempted to crush our furry heroes. He picked up one of his gigantic legs and tried to stomp on Kaptain Kitty’s head! “Oh no,” she thought to herself, “Is this the end? We barely started to be heroes yet!” Then suddenly a mysterious voice exclaimed, “STOP RIGHT THERE!”
Epilogue
Is this the final chapter for our dynamic duo and their friends? Will Kaptain Kitty and Ferocious Feline come up with a master plan and will it be enough to stop F.A.R.T?
