connotation
an idea or feeling that a word invokes in addition to its literal or primary meaning.
“the word “discipline” has unhappy connotations of punishment and repression”A lot of the people on this site don’t really show that they understand connotation.
When you say things, use words that have a negative connotation, specifically words that most people would take as insults like “mother fucker”, “bitch”, and other words, people are most likely going to react negatively. Just because you’re joking does NOT mean that everyone else will understand you’re joking, because normal people (my apologies) dont take cussing and insults as a “joke”, especially when you dont REALLy know the. I hope its a matter of not understanding, rather than being rude on purpose.
Its not just something you learn about in school and you use for reading, and i’d like for people to think about what they are typing and how its going to come across before they actually send it
I’m not going to act like i’m a perfect person because obviously i’m not and in the past I was definitely worse, but i’d say I definitely have grew as a person after almost a year of not being on this site, and i’d like to hopefully see that everyone has grown past the way they used to act
Have a good day
tl:dr, certain words invoke certain reponses, try not to be rude for no reason
