My heart beats for you alone,
A love so strong, yet far from home.
In dreams, I see your lovely face,
But wake to find an empty space.

Your eyes, like stars, shine bright and blue,
Reflecting all the love I hold true.
But alas, you’re lost to me, it’s clear,
Leaving only tears and sorrow here.

I reach for you, but you’re not near,
A ghostly presence, always out of fear.
My love for you, a flame that burns so bright,
Yet in the darkness, it flickers out of sight.

In every moment, I feel your absence deep,
A hollow ache that my heart cannot keep.
I’m lost without you, adrift and alone,
A ship without anchor, tossed by love’s dark throne.

Oh, how I want to hold you close and tight,
To feel your warmth and gentle light.
But fate, it seems, has other plans,
Leaving me with only sorrow’s heavy hands.

So I’ll hold on to memories of you,
And cherish every moment we once knew.
Though you’re nowhere near me, my love will remain,
A bittersweet reminder of love’s sweet pain.
