Not that anyone asked my opinion, but I never understood polyamormous people. It sounds like that whole sexuality was created so people can cheat. I mean, I get people today find more than one person attractive, but doesn’t everyone want to be the one special person in someone’s lives? Would someone feel less loved than the other? How does this even work long term? It doesn’t seem right… I get that everyone involved is supposed to be okay with it, and that’s the whole point, but. Why would anyone be okay with someone going out with someone else at the same time as them? It just sounds like if they don’t care to have 100% of someone’s love, they never truly loved that person. I can’t ever imagine what it’d be like if someone I was dating told me that they liked someone else as well as me. Even if I knew they were a polygamist, I would still feel a little less special to my partner. I just don’t know how someone could invest their love in more than one person and still have it be 100% genuine. Maybe there are reasons someone wants to date more than one person. Like if someone liked one person for the personality, and another person for their looks. But…how devistated would anyone be if their partner dated someone else because they didn’t find them to be enough for them.
I don’t want to be attacked for questioning this, but I would just like to know how this even works. And if it is even genuine.
