I walked around today (we’re still in the village). I found my father’s oldest house, which was no longer in use, and examined it. It was very different inside.
Later that evening, some of my cousins came over, and we sat and chatted at my father’s grandfather’s old house. Then we played Uno and Taboo with them in front of my aunt’s house. When they left, we had dinner. And now I’m here.

While scrolling through the video, I saw a woman who looked familiar. Then I realized I knew her. She was a children’s book publisher and had very creative handcrafted fabric books. I also remember she had a little child/niece named Pia (whom she made these books for). She’s Turkish and a woman worth appreciating.

I love this woman. She was one of the most beautiful channels that colored my childhood. This woman is so good :]
