What hurts the most about “friends” or maybe “online friends” who do that is the fact they specifically want your attention when they talk to you and expect you to engage with the conversation. If anything sticks out like a sore thumb, just make sure you’re not the back-up friend to them.
When it comes to venting, of course they want help, advice, and whatnot. But it’s not okay to accuse you for not caring.
Most who are anti-social in irl/public or anti-social during certain times of the day or night might just not have anything to say to different situations that get thrown at them.
For whoever this “Sands” guy or girl is, they have a strong interpretation about you like they would about someone else, which that brings out the accusatory side of them and maybe they aren’t as observant when it comes to the smaller details.
