Not to defend him, but just to defend men in general lol;
I think for a lot of guys itβs pretty rare for someone to actually say they like them, and so it can be hard to decline an opportunity when someone does end up liking them, even if they know the relationship wouldnβt last. Honestly, I could almost see myself doing this or something like it just because I didnβt realize that it would be an issue yknow? Maybe its stereotyping to say, but I think most guys in this situation wouldnβt mean any harm.
