ALT Utilization

I would like to make something clear to you guys. I’ve been bombarded with issues relating to people who own multiple ALT accounts, either being misused or taken advantage of, that ultimately need to be lessened to prevent further reports.
There should optimally be a requirement for one main account, in which it is used for your prime interactions, either due to how often you are online and your future intentions to keep a main account itself.
However, ALT accounts are accepted, as long as they are used appropriately - there are no restrictions towards that. Obviously, creating dozens of accounts isn’t ideal, and would likely be subject to suspicion that we’d have to look into.
One problem is that many different users originating from a school-ground area could confuse this system, since drastically many would appear to have the same IP address, not necessarily coming from one single individual. I myself would honestly opt for a new and safe way, if ever considered, to track and manage registrations more efficiently from school-system IP’s for less flare ups and confusion for the community, don’t you think?
I know that some of you may have registered, say, along with a friend or a sibling in real life, connecting to an IP. I totally understand, but at the very least, please reach out to us so that we’re aware of that given situation if it ever happens.
Back to the point at hand, if any authorized ALTs are used for anything otherwise, they would have to be prohibited, temporarily banned at the least. Please refrain from any form of abuse while attaining your ALTs - we’ve been reminded a whole bunch, leading back to prior announcements, about what you shouldn’t and should do, in order to follow the forum etiquette.
I’m confident about how things are going lately, and generally, I hope that we can continue being a non-toxic, less confusing community <3
