@That-Pretty-Femboy The main reason why I don’t cut my hair is because every time I get even just a small trim my grandma goes “OMG WHO CUT YOUR HAIR!!!” and it’s like… Grandma, this is good for my hair…?
Apart from that, I feel like I’m being pressured by my family to keep my hair just because my mom isn’t with us anymore. They constantly talk about how she had gorgeous hair and I’m the only thing they have left of her, and how devastated they’d be if I cut my hair and that my hair is super pretty and they hope I grow it out to be super long…

They shouldn’t be forcing you to grow out your hair just because of your mom, if you wanna cut it you should cut it @Calistaa

@Calistaa oh no- im sorry hun, tbh my mom didnt let me get my hair cut, i went to a friends house and they helped me cut it into a very bad pixie cut, i got yelled cuz my dad would have never let me do that, my mom wouldnt either but i wasnt about to keep looking like blonde dora even as [at the time] a closeted trans boy

@Calistaa the whole reason i couldnt get it was cuz my mom said my dad loved my hair. i never once cut it more than trimming my bangs until after my dad died and my mom cut my hair about to like mid-neck length and bleached it when she bleached hers, i looked like blonde dora it was terrible
