Even though it seems like we’ll never run out of trees doesn’t necessarily mean that we should destroy the environment further by doing so - like, we’ve already damaged the unique habitats of The Amazon Rain forest by deforesting what seems like an endless supply of wood. The country of Borneo, I happen to know, has lost over 90% of all it’s forests due to this - What the Orangutans used to call home is now an unlivable barren landscape : ( That’s what hurts me most is what the animals are forced to adapt to.
Shouldn’t we chill out on over collecting lumber? It definitely seems that way logically but, oh well, the world nowadays is at production height, and there is zero care for nature whatsoever. The few naturalists and animal supporters out there deserve better. The big corporations of animal protection deserve a chance to at least make this problem more widely known - Maybe they have, but this can’t be stressed enough. We shouldn’t overlook things like this and say it’s no big deal - It definitely is. I really am eager to see what happens in the future, If anything has progressed.

I agree, I honestly never knew about this until I was told to do an essay at school about how humans have affected our environment, and when I found out that sloths, monkeys, lemurs, insects, and many more creatures were being affected by this I felt sorrow, because these animals have done nothing wrong, yet we’re hurting their home. -
@TheyLuvMe It’s a horrible situation honestly, but all we can do is await the outcome, or spread the word.

Thanks lol, I love sloths, monkeys, and lemurs. They’re so cute and innocent, but we’re hurting them without reason. I wanna do something about it, but I’m just some random middle school girl, what can I do? Nothing much, really- -
@TheyLuvMe Team trees. We must all plant at least 1 tree for a week and we will save the earth! Trees also help us breath fresh clean air, also without trees, there would be no apple iphones, SO LETS FIGHT FOR THE TREES, LETS FIGHT FOR OUR LIVES!!! JDP-

Yes lol, also I forgot to say this; when we cut down trees we’re also releasing high levels of C02 into the air, which contributes to global warming, so we’re not only hurting animals with this but ourselves as well. -
