Like…when someone says “I promise”
I don’t know but I can’t always trust that word. Like I feel bad because deep down I know that I can’t trust the person who says that. People have promised me a lot of shit yea, but I just feel like the promises never get done.
As an example:
Random person:“I love you”
Random person 2: “I love you to”
Random person: “Promise?”
Random person 2: “I promise”
And then guess what. They break up. Even If they become friends, they might still love each other. But half of the time, It was not the same love. Like If you had an ex before, they could be calling you so much shit right now, but you used to be their whole world.
I feel like a lot of people get hurt because of the word promise. They think people actually mean what they say, but the only thing they mean to do, Is to break your trust.
That was kind of weird, but yea. :ddd -
@1zzylmao So wise, so true.

So true. Which is why I never wanted an ex, honestly. I dont have any. But I hated the idea of thinking I loved someone and it not being true. I wanted to get it right the first time.

@Duchess That’s exactly how I feel, I don’t want to look back at it. I want to forget it.

@1zzylmao this reminds me of a relationship i had early in june…

I feel like this is true, but like idk how to feel cus I feel like I’ve made some promises to you and I feel like I haven’t been able to be here for you or with you as much as I would like to. Uh, anyways. I’m sorry about that,
But I don’t know how else to convince you dat I do mean it but it’s not in my control. -
@7o2_an-a Im not confident in my promises. I promised some stuff and couldnt keep it and it hurt someone and myself because of how bad I felt. Promises are not just something you say. Promises are supposed to be a guarantee, and when a “guarantee” isn’t actually guaranteed, it makes people lose their trust. I don’t guarantee anyone anything anymore because life changes and even if it’s not anyone’s fault, people should take life into consideration.
Doctors say they’ll do what they can but no guarantee of success.
It’s not as nice as hearing “Ill cure this patient guaranteed,” but it hurts 100x more when you thought the patient was going to be cured and they die, and you weren’t even prepared.

@Duchess
Like I said tho, I made the promise in full intention of actually keeping the promise, but then things happened in my own life which didn’t allow me to talk to her EVERYDAY. But I still try to be here from time to time. -
@7o2_an-a I know what you mean. I can see how frustrating that is. It’s not your fault.
