@Duchess and thats a fair assumption, considering the news in the us and police brutality acts that black people are the main victims of. not only that but most races dont like us actually, an asian store owner (i think he was chinese but i dont want to assume) shot a black kid a couple months ago in my area for “stealing a water bottle” that he picked up and put back. i would assume that too ngl. i could talk about the million sleepover stories but ill just link one
https://apnews.com/article/georgia-01daf915a230770f11d41258c64e10e0
and shit happens to other races too but ever notice we’re the main ones?
https://www.nytimes.com/article/breonna-taylor-police.html
theres a police brutality one
like i could keep linking these
not to go into a whole rant but when shit like that happens weekly you tend to start assuming shit, yk?
sometimes its just easy to feel like we’re the only ones who deal with most of this shit
theres racist black people too but i mean, i dont even hang out with that many kids of other races, jordans the only one but im fucking terrified of shit like that happening to me.
anyway, doesnt matter.

@a7x-isbetter-thanu To be honest, I don’t understand what’s brutal against black people in that article. An extremely drunk black woman was at a party and fell off the deck. What’s that got to do with their race? “Races don’t like us” is a really huge assumption to categorize that other races and say they “don’t like yours.” You can’t just go and read articles about people doing something “brutal” against someone that happened to be black and think the world is out to get you. I don’t understand that mentality.
Whites die brutally every day
Asians die brutally every day
Latinos die brutally every day
People just don’t cover those in articles because when it’s against a black people…the world goes nuts and calls it racism.
-
rei ayanami Answer: They aren’t. Men are, obviously.
-
@Duchess I understand that, but you have to see where they’re coming from. It’s normal to be racist at this point, especially towards black people. And I can’t talk because I don’t understand but I live with someone who does. Don’t invalidate their feelings just because you don’t understand. That was mad dismissive of their feelings not gonna lie.
-
Salty Now while one of the articles yes is controversial, the other is plain and clear racism. Which I don’t deal with, nor do you. We have our own struggles yes but racism isn’t one.
-
Salty In short, don’t invalidate someones feelings on racially topics when thats something thats normal for them, which really fucking sucks.
-
i don’t know how this started from a “Women are hot” to a literal discussion of racism
but now i will talk about the title:
i disagree, men are hotter

Being racist is not something to normalize. To just “give up” and say “meh, it’s normal, I’m the victim, who cares anyways,” is honestly just sad on their anyone’s part. I’d hate for someone to live like that.

Actually, all I said was this article doesn’t show me racism, and said black people aren’t the only victim I know what racism is, I’ve experienced it, and I’ve heard it. The article Fin pulled up had nothing to do with racism. But not many talk about other races getting race hate, now do they?

Like I said in my own comment, I don’t know what was racist about the article. Is that dismissive of me to point out what I don’t see? No. And I’ve never looked up an article to prove my race is hated. That’s why I said:
You can’t just go and read articles about people doing something “brutal” against someone that happened to be black and think the world is out to get you. I don’t understand that mentality.
I listed that other races get racism because it’s just a fact. But if everyone’s race has racism in one way or another, why does it only seem like black people can complain
