Im really sorry to hear you’re going through this right now :( I know your relationship was special to you, so I dont actually find it ridiculous that you feel this deep about it. It’s honestly kind of tragic when you get into a relationship and you give the other person half of your heart and it just gets ripped out. That’s real pain. I just hope you won’t ever blame yourself for trusting another human being. It’ll never be your fault for trusting someone to keep an honest commitment. I dont know how much time you need to grieve what you lost, but I hope you give yourself enough of it. You really really deserve it for everything you’ve been doing for other people. @xay-is-hot-duh A big part of growing up and maturing is finding yourself, and being able to be independent. Relationships come and go. It’ll be like that for your whole life. People will come in and out of your life every day. Some stay a while, some only last a day or two. You have to get used to that. Things come up, some people may not be who you think they are. You’ll be deceived, you’ll be lied to. It’s just how life flows. I know it’s hard to handle sometimes, but as you’re young, take it as a learning experience.

The way I like to see it, the more people you interact with, the more people come and go, the more you discover about yourself, the more you learn about what you do and don’t like. Like I said, people are assholes. You’ll start getting an idea of the people you should avoid, people you like to be around, etc.

You’ll bounce back. You’ll get better, it’s all in good time. I’ve been broken many times. I find myself lucky to be where I am now, and I only got there with experience.

Finding the right person in a relationship can be tough as hell. I can only imagine the pain of being so attached to a person and having that all taken from you. It’s a totally okay thing to feel that way no matter how old you are.
Love is tough shit, dude.

Its terrible that love has never been what it’s made out to be, even in lasting relationships. People lie, cheat, hurt, give up, etc.

I hope you can find someone who’ll stick with you through it all. Many people do, after all you’ve still got most of your life left lol. Just don’t let your failures hold you back.
After all, how would you improve if it weren’t for a few setbacks?

To touch on cyx’s point; my general advice to anyone under the age of like… 16 probably, is to just avoid relationships altogether. Life as a teen is extremely difficult emotionally for pretty much everyone (I say that being a teen who is in a relationship), getting in a relationship might seem like it’ll help with that but it can in many ways actually make it more difficult. Genuinely consider if you’re in an emotionally stable enough place in your life for yourself and for the other person, and if you’d be able to stand losing them.
I know I wouldn’t know what to do with my life if I lost my person. We should all have a plan in case of the worst. After all, people die sometimes, and there’s nothing we can do about it, so always be prepared.

i’ve only been in 2 relationships, one with rusty/zero (lasted like… either 3 days or a week)
and with red/ruby/yourlocaldumbass, we’ve been together for like… 4 years now i think, even though she’s rarely present enough for me to talk to her. it’s been months since we spoke, and i am indeed concerned for her health, as i also don’t know if she doesn’t wanna be /w me anymore but hEY.
