Teachers who grade showing your work

Are shitty teachers, imo. It’s not helping us. Just shut the fuck up and let us do the work, it’s bullshit I have to write it down. All I should need to do, is the work. I shouldn’t have to show how I did it. The people I pay bills off to aren’t going to fucking ask me how I did the math to find out how much I owed.

My geometry honors does dat. We had to take a test on some shit after on,y knowing it for three das and I was cheating supposedly because my friend had her paper tilted, but later on in another class I asked her why she had her paper like that and it’s just how she works and she was checking work😐

So so true. That’s why I never got why they houndogged students about showing their work. In the real world (which they say they’re preparing you for), you don’t need to show how you calculated your numbers! I do have to give credit for that fact that if it weren’t for the teachers grading that I showed my work, I would have flunked math in middleschool. My teacher gave extra points to those who showed their work, even if they did it wrong. It’s messed up for those who got the right answer but didn’t show work, but I took what I could get LOL

exactly this, my maths teacher always tells us to do homework how we think is best, even if it is wrong, all she says is that it should be in the notebook and that’s that
