It’s okay to express that. To be honest, “staying strong” in really tragic situations does more damage than just being honest with yourself. I dont know why people think they have to “be strong” in every bad scenario. Sadness and instability is completely justified and no one will look down upon you for it.

Why do people think joking they’re going to kill the bully is helpful rather actually emotionally supporting the person? People say all the time they want the address of the bully to come and beat them up, but that’s all empty jokes because we all know it won’t happen. I think people need real and compassionate support.
