@Duchess yeah lol. It’s just like. Off putting because to me that explains a lot about me but like. It’s a lot. And idk it’s kinda just messing with me cuz I legit never even thought about that possiblity

@Thetruepath I can imagine. I think it’s important to at least never start believing you are any less capable of anything. There are differences in how autistic people think vs non autistic. It can bring a different perspective in the room sometimes. I also believe that you should never think autism = ignorant/stupid/challenged. That’s a huge mistake people make. I mean, just look around at autistic people who succeed so well in life, even better than some non autistic people. You can look online if you’re interested. I dont know if you’ve heard of when someone says “that must be your autism” lol. Like if you’re highly invested in one topic and are basically a master in everything with that one thing. I had an autistic friend who was really into fishing. He might have struggled in school a lot, but he could tell you everything about fish/fishing in general. So it really made me sad when people thought he was stupid. I wouldnt think of autism as a hurtle built into your life. I’d think of it as having a slightly different set of lenses. Maybe it’s a little different. Maybe it’s a lot different. But it doesn’t make you blind or distort the world.
I wasn’t going to say this, but oddly my parents used to talk to eachother about how they thought I needed to get tested for sort of mental disability. It was because of how I never know how to close my mouth and didn’t seem to get things very fast. They still say how things just go over my head lol. I used to feel bad, but it’s okay.

Don’t lose hope. Recently, I witnessed a graduated autistic student be awarded for both exceptionally high grades and community service. He was awarded a much higher honor than I did, especially amazing for him.

I brought up that I have hearing issues and get panicked around yelling or loud noises. And my hands get really shaky I brought up that I have hearing issues and get panicked around yelling or loud noises. And my hands get really shaky. Like I legit have panic attacks when I hear people yelling.
