on the rainiest days,
i lay in bed and smile
i watch as the world is cleansed of sin
i stand in the rain and spin
happy to be here,
happy to be alive.

rainy days are my favorite days,
some people see them as depressing
i just see happiness in all the gloom
i see laughter
i see livelyness
i see you.

and on those rainy days,
love shows,
from the cuddles on the couch,
while watching movies.

the making cookies,
while it downpours.

i love a rainy day,
especially when it’s with you.
