@Duchess my dad wasn’t like that when I broke my femur bone he carried me into the car and drove me to the hospital. He was so scared for me that he started crying and telling me I’d be ok

Around July in 2016, I was playing in a pool, as 9-year-olds do (turned 10 not long after this happened). I was a little too close to the ladder which protruded upward, and my toes went from

My smallest toe was now (approximately) at an 80° angle to the right (on my right foot). I had to walk through a giant parking lot at a hospital (after a short car ride to said hospital), check in, then wait five excruciating hours with a Sunkist to drink and a small bag of Cheetos (crunchy). By the end of it, my toe was back in place and I had to use crutches from that day to almost the end of August.Moral of the story: Don’t get too close to the ladders at a pool.
