There’s a daily quote bot in one of my servers and this one came up today and I thought I’d share it with you guys with little story.
“Lonely is not being alone, it’s the feeling that no one cares.”
I hadnt thought about it before, but this quote is so true. Back before this forum existed, before I really had any best friends or a huge fellowship of people to talk to every day, I still never felt alone. I thought it was because I didnt think i needed anyone, but I dont think that’s it because everyone needs someone. I guess i realize that i never felt lonely because I knew people cared. People cared about the community, cared about coming on every day or at least when they could to talk to their friends. I felt like I was in this secret community where no one knew about because on the surface it just looks like a place to play piano, but when you stick around enough, you realize it’s more than that.
I dont want anyone in this community to ever feel alone because even if you believe there arent people who specifically care about you in a personal way, remember what we’re all here for. We’re here for eachother. And that includes you too.
