@Duchess Most of the prejudice is honestly just how some (not all) are very egotistical and we like to show off. I mainly play trumpet, and have been proud for 8 years. Alot of the time its just a matter of do you have the dedication to learn an instrument, and I’m sure you understand that seeing as you play piano (?)

joe_shmoe3491 Yes. I think any musician should be proud of their talent and the work put into learning/making songs. I think confidence should always be accompanied by humility and that is the part that helps people see mistakes and become even greater, and be proud of themselves :)

joe_shmoe3491 Maybe it’s just that jazz veterans are cruel xD. Ive never had anything against players, but I never really appreciated brass till meeting my boyfriend who plays tuba lol.

@Duchess I used to despise reeds. It was like the brass creed to hate them in middle. My girlfriend is a clarinet player, and ever since we started dating I showed my alto sax some more love

@A38 No cause im tottaly with you. Mayonaise is an instrument. Idk if you’ve seen it but there’s this guy who plays the jazz lick on 101 different instruments and one of the instruments he uses is mayonnaise.
