@zack This varies across schools. Someone I know found out the hard way and got charged $270, so just be mindful of that.

schools that have to continuously hand out new Chromebooks to students each year only have to pay more for Chromebooks because of their decision on that
we keep our Chromebooks unless we’re moving or we’re seniors and we’re not coming back

@zack Them returning it before school ends does not necessarily mean the school purchases new chromebooks. This is probably a liability thing that they don’t want to deal with which is why they make the students return them
