when i die,
would you care?
would you cherish my memory
as if im still there?

would you tell the world
about me,
or would my memory be lost
a tale unfurled.

would you find peace in my absence,
or would you miss my presence?
would my name be lost to time,
unsaid like a crime.

i wish i knew what the future held,
but i don’t
so it’s better left shelled,

but one more question,
if i may,
will you cherish me,
like you would if i was dead,
today?
