Schrodinger's Cat/Weeping Angel Theory (Slight Shitpost, Slightly Serious)
-
SchrΓΆdingerβs Cat is a thought experiment in quantum mechanics, where a cat in a sealed box is considered to be in a superposition of states (alive and dead) until someone observes it.
β¦
Likewise, Weeping Angels from Doctor Who are quantum-locked creatures that can only move when they arenβt being observedβessentially existing in a state dependent on the observerβs interaction.
β¦
In a way, they are similar. However, for the Angels, itβs backwards. You do not know whether they are living or dead when they are not being perceived, because when you look at them, their molecular structure locks into place, turning them into stone, like how SchrΓΆdingerβs cat was both alive and dead at the same time, until you opened the box. The Angels are both alive and dead while not being perceived.
β¦Thank you for coming to my (slight) shitpost Ted Talk.

π€πΈππΎππ πππππΎππΆπΈππ€ is it like a au or from a movie?
Lowkey need i to explaim the lore bc this is interesting. i love things like this -
π€πΈππΎππ πππππΎππΆπΈππ€ I read that as well meth-

Blake so Schrodingerβs Cat was an experiment in the 1950s (I think '53?) but the Angels are from Doctor Who, which is a whole can of worms full of lore- (itβs a series)

π€πΈππΎππ πππππΎππΆπΈππ€ . im gonna have to look up that experiment bc thats interesting asfβ¦?-
