I finally did it.

For a long time, Iโve had trouble embracing my skin tone. The world is so hard to be in for everyone whoโs not what people want them to be. Itโs been a long road and I know Iโm going on a whole rant bc of a drawing but, this is the first time Iโve ever just immediately started sketching curls instead of going for straight hair. Its the first time that Iโve painted someone with a skin tone of color rather than just immediately going for a really bright skintone. And no, theres nothing wrong with that whatsoever. People with bright skintones and straight hair are cool but Iโve finally come to terms with the fact that, thats not me. Like people have told me my whole life that I have to come to terms with myself and lately Iโve been going through a growth phase where Iโve grown to finally learn to let go of people and learned that some friendships are seasonal and stuff. Honestly, Iโm sorry to anyone whoโs time I wasted with my bs. And I wanna thank those who still deal with me even after everything Iโve been through and weโve been through as friends. Especially Duncan : ). I love you all so much and this is like a fairly random post but like yeah. Everyone who still deals with me, I love you so much. Iโm just gonna say, Iโm growing as a person, as an artist, as a friend and Iโm still learning! Iโm just so lucky to have such amazing ppl around. People like my boyfriend, my best friends, and more. Iโm surrounding myself with better people daily.
