What I have so far on my story for school.

Continuing where we left off:
As soon as the shards hit Steves leg, he let out a cry of pain, blood dripping down his leg.
“Crap!” Steve yelled out. Steve looked up, seeing Les protecting, Tommy. Deciding to come to them he quickly bandaged himself and ran off towards Les and Tommy avoiding all the people trying to get at him and hit other things. Once he reached the house Les saw him and pulled him up to where they we’re.
Les: “Are you alright?”
Steve: “Not really but I’ll manage. Thank you.”
