@Duchess I totally agree with you, every word. I have no sentence I even mildly disagree with. I understand all opinions following this, but for the last goddamn time. “Mature” is not what a child is supposed to be; why call a child immature when no child is either mentally or physically mature? It doesn’t make sense. Nova, again, is an 8 year old child. Children make mistakes, commonly more the younger they are. They don’t understand that all the things they do are, to say the least, “bad.”
And I quote, “their age doesn’t give them a pass for what they’ve done.”
Racism? Is that seriously all? You’re seriously calling an 8 year old out. For being… racist? And accusing them of so many other things I can’t even remember? Honestly that’s been past us for so long now, I forgot what those things were.
To summarize: Being a young child actually is a pass. You can’t expect an 8 year old to know better. They’re literally 8. You didn’t know better when YOU fucked up, until afterwards. You can say you did, but you and I both know that at one point of our lives had made HORRIBLE decisions as children.
When I was Nova’s age, I killed some other kid’s rabbit. It wasn’t intentional to begin with, and I hadn’t even realized how horrible what I had done was. Just a reminder Duch, when I mention you here, I’m only talking to you for the part where I agree. The rest of this though?

I don't really agree with the "Being a young child does give you a pass" Cause it really doesn't. She's made the same mistake over and over again when we've told her to stop. I can agree with you on the "Mature isn't what a child is supposed to be" But never have I once said she should be mature[I think] this is just what I think/Have been told. -
