Being inside forms of transportation such as buses or cars scares me, a lot

I can’t even tell my dad that out of fear of judgement. You’re probably wondering why I’d be scared of his opinion over something so simple, there’s no way he’d think you’re that weird for it, it’s something normal to be scared of considering how dangerous it can be. Yeah, well, he’s spoken to me a lot this year and last year about how very soon I will be taking drivers ed class and get a car and learn to drive.
But, as you know by reading the title of this topic, that is a problem.
“Why can’t you just tell him that?” is something someone would ask me.“Please don’t be like your mom, her mom, or your uncle. They were all pussies, too scared to drive cars.” -Christopher J. Timberlake

Shit, I just remembered that my dad’s mom is stupid and spelled his name wrong

To add on, I’m much more scared of having to drive them than to just be inside them

@Calistaa I can relate honestly - I think I’ll be taking Drivers ED this summer, considering that my older brother also took driving lessons around the same time. It’s scary to think about all the risks, the new things that you now have to be aware yourself. But you have to trust yourself ultimately - if all these dangers are overwhelming, the first step would be to acknowledge the risks that could happen, thus having an idea of what you should expect to be familiar with. Familiarity is another important aspect.

I may be the first one out of me and my younger brother to learn how to drive a car. He’s giving me the vibe that he’ll most likely wait for me to get it over with, haha
