What a Day.

I have the craziest story.

So today was a very long day, so I’ll sum it up.
This morning, I convinced my parents to stay home, because I had period cramps, and they were extremely painful (plus, no pads.) I took this time to make some commissions, and so far, with the time that I’ve used, I’ve made some of the best drawings that I’ve done in the past few months.

After all that was over, nothing really happened after that. Time skip, Misty came back around 3:00 in the afternoon, we did our usual chatting, cuz this is usually when I get home, and she’s in a class where she can talk to me. Had a couple of character development role plays and discussions, after that she left. I continued on with my drawing. I was drawing for a while, and then took a break to play a game with my brother for a short 15 minutes. Timeskip, I went back to my drawing, took another break and decided to go outside for whatever reason.

When I peered outside, there was this little kitten. This kitten has been going around for a while, and we’ve been trying to catch it. It was raining and very dark out, and my mom rearranged the porch, so the environment was completely different to what the cat was normal with, and it didn’t know where to hide.

The first try, it got away and hid under the stairs, where I couldn’t get it. I went back inside and waited for a few minutes and there we had it, the cat was out again.

Just as my parents were pulling in from coming back from the grocery store in the resale site, just as the kitten was about to run away, I grabbed it by the legs and pulled it out of the hiding spot. It scratched me and almost ripped off my goddamn finger from biting me, but I didn’t care.

I held on to the cat with all my might, it eventually pulled it away from my finger. I brought it to my parents who just got out of the car then brought it inside and waited.

My finger was drenched in blood, I thought I was going to die LMAO. Time skipped, my parents got back I fixed my finger and the cat’s now hiding underneath the bed. We’ve pulled it out earlier, the check on it, it’s a lot calmer than it was before, it let us pet it, because it knew that it was either safe now, or it couldn’t escape.

It’s really soft, and the cat feels like Silk. I’m pretty sure it’s a Maine Coon, a male one.

It’s mostly black with the Splurge of brown swirls, like a marble Tabby, it’s got white little paws in a white underbelly in a little white mouth.

My dad wants to name it Draven the crow, but it’s so emo, it kind of disgusts me.

Even with all of this happening, I still had a pretty good day.

Send me some name suggestions, cuz I really don’t want this cat be named something emo after my dad.

I’m glad you used your time to perfect your drawing skills though! That would be awesome if you can show us when you’re finished!

Wow ^^ - I’m very surprised and thankful that the kitten was okay, being all outside in the weather and whatnot. He sounds beautiful the way you put it :)
We used to have this outdoor cat named Fluffy at my grandma’s all the time, and we’d let her in since it was their neighbor’s cat, and we knew the neighbor so it was okay.
Sadly the neighbors moved, and took Fluffy along with them - I really miss her honestly.

A very eventful day for you for sure, haha

Fluffy was a very fluffy (hence the name!) orange and white cat - she always used to jump up and sit on the arm of their sofa, and just sit there haha :)

I live in Florida, the weather is terrible here! The kitten was feral, so it knew how to survive (And why it bit me, owwie :C)

Ohh okay. I’ve been to Florida once, and it’s really humid there I still imagine - that kitten must’ve been strong!

I went up to North Carolina and Arkansas for a little bit, boy, I felt so nice up there

every day there’s nearly 100% humidity, it’s insane
so hard to breathe sometimes
